The Alabama CARES program provides temporary support to family caregivers through resources , education and services (Homemaker, personal care and Respite, or supplies) to keep families together while enabling seniors to remain at home as long as possible. Caregivers of older adults (60 and over) and senior caregivers (55 and over) of children any age are eligible for services.
