ATRC Aging is your Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC), serving as a single point of entry for the long term supports and services available for seniors and those with disabilities. Sometimes referred to as a “one-stop shop” or “no wrong door “ system, the ADRC addresses many of the frustrations consumers and their families experience while trying to find information, services and supports that they or their loved one need. The ADRC is able to raise visibility of the full range of programs, services and options that are available. By providing objective information, advice, counseling and assistance, they empower people to make informed decisions about their long term support, and help people more easily access both public and private long term supports and services.
Home and Community Based Services: Person-centered services in the home and case management to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities to remain healthy in their home and community as long as possible.
Caregiver Support: Assistance, Counseling, Education, Respite and Supplemental Services for Caregivers.
Nutrition: Nutritious meals in the Senior Center or delivered to the home (for homebound clients)
Prescription Assistance: Assistance with accessing prescription medication for little to no cost through pharmaceutical companies and discount programs.
Insurance Counseling: Counseling and advocacy with Medicare and Medicaid, prescription drug coverage, and long term care coverage.
Legal Services: assistance with legal documents, access to government benefits, healthcare and housing.
Long term care Ombudsman: Information and advocacy for residents in long term care facilities and their families. Advocacy for quality care, fair treatment and protection of the residents’ rights.
Senior Employment: Provides paid training to older individuals (ages 55 and over) to help to strengthen and improve their skill set furthering their chance at gainful employment.
Transportation: Provides transportation to locations essential to maintaining Client’s health and well-being.
Classes and Community programs: Educational presentations, Evidence based wellness programs and community events are available to public, civic and professional groups at no charge.
